For over 30 years Rooster T. Feathers has brought the nation‘s best comics to the Sunnyvale stage. Stars of today such as Jerry Seinfeld, Robin Williams, Ellen DeGeneres, and Drew Carey have entertained thousands of Rooster‘s crowds. Today, Roosters is the host to national comics as seen on The Tonight Show, The Late Show with David Letterman, HBO, Showtime and Comedy Central. Not a cavernous hall or stuffy theater, Roosters offers an intimate setting where you can enjoy the funniest entertainers, live and up close, the way stand-up comedy was intended. This historic landmark was Sunnyvale‘s original bus stop and back in the early 1970s was the location of the beta test of the first video game, Pong. Rooster‘s showroom is always available for private parties, corporate events and daytime rentals in addition to our nightly shows. Personalized catering is also available for parties of 35 or more.
RESERVATIONS:
Reservations are recommended for all of our shows. You can leave reservations for any of our shows by calling our reservation information line at 408-736-0921. If you would like to prepay for your seats, please leave a credit card number with the expiration date, and this will guarantee your seats will be saved for you indefinitely.
There are no refunds for pre-paid reservations. Tickets may be exchanged for a future show of equal or lesser value, depending on availability. Call 408.736.0921 to request an exchange no later than 5:00pm on the day of the original show. There is no refund or exchange for missed reservations.
Doors open at 7:15pm for 8:00pm shows, 8:00pm for 9:00pm shows, and 10:00pm for 10:30pm shows. You should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to showtime to claim your reservation. At 15 minutes before showtime, all reservations that are NOT pre-paid are canceled, and you are no longer guaranteed seating. THIS IS SOOOOOO IMPORTANT! Tickets are available for purchase on our Web site. Check the Calendar to find tickets. Payment is also accepted over the phone with a credit card or at the door in the form of cash or a credit card (Visa, Mastercard American Express and Discover) Sorry, we do not accept checks.
SPECIAL EVENTS:
Roosters has Special Events, including certain comedians, fundraisers, specific holidays, competitions, auditions etc. We do not accept passes or coupons for Special Events. The Special Event status will be noted on the calendar page, on our calendars in the club, and on our outgoing phone message the week of the show.
OPEN MIC NIGHT:
Think you‘re funny???? Roosters hosts New Talent Night (aka Open Mic Night) on select Wednesdays at 8:00 PM. On any given Wednesday night you'll see a plethora of new and professional talent...sometimes 15 to 20 acts wil be up there giving it their all.

DRESS CODE
Roosters has no dress code per se...and although you'll be comfortable in casual, you'll see a little of everything on any given evening. Some people are coming directly from work and are dressed in business attire, some are comfortable and casual, and some people come dressed to the nines! So come as you like but please wear shoes!
MANNERS, HECKLERS, and OBNOXIOUS BEHAVIOR
We are in the business of providing a good time, but remember we have the 'good time' of a lot of people to look in on...so all guests are reminded to keep all unnecessary table conversation to a minimum...and heckling, quite frankly is a no-no. Everyone has paid good money to see a comedian, not you...Mr. Shouting at the Stage or you, Ms. Had Too Much to Drink at Dinner...So please...eat, drink, be merry and LAUGH! But if you're a complete bonehead, you will be tossed!
LEGALITY:
Everyone must be 21 or older with a valid ID. A valid ID, according to California Liquor Code is defined as a state-issued driver's license or ID, a military ID, or a passport. No other forms of identification will be accepted.
PARKING:
Roosters offers unlimited free parking in front of the club on El Camino, in the adjacent Goodyear Parking lot, and across Murphy St. in the Allario Shopping Center lot.
FOOD & DRINKS:
Roosters has a full service bar loaded with premium and top shelf liquors, over 15 different beers and a list of popular California wines.
There is a two item minimum, either food or beverage, per person in the showroom. |
