Armed robbery–Jan. 19, 8:35 p.m. N. Fair Oaks Avenue. An unknown person entered a business and threatened the clerk with a firearm, demanding money. The person fled with money and was not apprehended.

Residential burglary–Jan. 19, 2:44 p.m. Holly Terrace. A man entered a garage and stole data equipment. The victim confronted him as he was getting into his car to flee. The victim was struck by the man’s vehicle as it fled. Officers later found the man and his vehicle. The man was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County jail.

Auto accident–Jan. 19, 10:44 a.m. Wolfe Road. DPS personnel responded to an injury accident at Wolfe Road and Fair Oaks Avenue. Extrication equipment was needed to remove a victim from one of the vehicles.

Auto burglary and arson–Jan. 19, 12:35 a.m. Lakebird Drive. Officers responded to the area on a report of a car alarm sounding. Officers discovered a vehicle that had been burglarized and the vehicle was subsequently set on fire. Officers extinguished the fire and found two people who were arrested.

Misappropriation of property–Jan. 17, 5:30 p.m. Duane Avenue. Officers contacted a person who was in possession of a cell phone that was lost earlier in the day at a restaurant in Mountain View. The phone was returned to the owner and the suspect was arrested.

Commercial burglary–Jan. 17, 2:20 a.m. Macara Avenue. An unknown person entered a business by forcing open a door and stole electronics.

Commercial burglary–Jan. 17, 1:11 a.m. Borregas Avenue. An unknown individual entered a business by prying open a door. Electronics were also reported stolen.

Firearm–Jan. 14, 3:17 p.m. Pastoria Avenue. While conducting traffic enforcement in the area, an officer stops a vehicle whose driver who was on searchable probation. Officers found a sawed-off shotgun under the driver’s seat. The driver was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail.
