Assault with a deadly weapon–Jan. 12, 8:18 p.m. Morse Avenue. Officers were dispatched to a local hospital on a report of a person who was stabbed. The person was jumped by a group of individuals when they were stabbed, suffering non-life-threatening injuries. Officers subsequently found a suspect in possession of property belonging to the person who was attacked. The suspect was arrested for various criminal violations, including the stabbing, robbery and gang-enhancement charges.

Carrying a loaded firearm in public–Jan. 12, 1:28 p.m. Tenaka Place. Officers responded to a report of a person walking in an apartment complex, carrying a firearm. Officers found the person driving in the area of Sunnyvale-Saratoga Road and Fremont Avenue. They were stopped and taken into custody without incident. The firearm was recovered in the vehicle.
