Vote Gigante!

Is Gigante the best mascot in minor league baseball? The San Jose Giants think so, and they’re hoping that their fans think so too–and that they say it with their votes.

MiLB.com‘s Mascot Mania is underway, and fans will vote first for the best mascot in the California League and the San Jose club is hoping for a repeat win for Gigante, who won the honor in 2013. Online voting (at milb.com/mascotmania) runs through 9 a.m. on Aug. 4. League winners move on to the “Best Mascot in Minor League Baseball” competition with voting from 9 a.m. on Aug. 4 through 9 a.m. on Aug. 11 at the same site.
