Fall ball

The Quito Little League is holding a fall ball program for boys and girls ages 5-14. The cost of $110 per player includes a cap and jersey, and there are on boundary restrictions. Practices begin on Aug. 17 with games to being Sept. 7 (dates are approximate). Those interested should attend the verification evening on July 31, 6-8 p.m., at Charlie Rose Baseball, 161 Curtner Ave. Contact John Vlahos at fallball@quitoll.org.

Giants camp

The San Jose Giants will hold their eighth annual summer baseball camp for boys and girls ages 7-14 on July 28-31, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., each day at San Jose Municipal Stadium. The cost is $315 per player, which in addition to individual instruction, includes a camp T-shirt, lunch each day of the camp and tickets to San Jose’s July 31 game.

AYSO sign-ups

Cupertino AYSO Region 35 will be holding online soccer registration for players ages 4-18 (as of July 31, 2014) at ayso35.org and the fee is $150. After July 31, players will be placed on a waiting list.

The fee includes uniforms, equipment for coaches, pictures, field use fee to the city of Cupertino, coach trainers, player clinics and insurance.

Quakes teams

The San Jose Earthquakes will field under-9 through under-16 teams as part of their youth development program that already includes under-14, under-16 and under-18 programs. The seven new programs will make up the Earthquakes Pre-Academy.
