Girls softball
The Los Gatos-Saratoga-Cupertino Girls Fastpitch Softball recreation league is holding late registration. The season runs from early March to mid-May, with practices and pre-season clinics starting earlier. Register online at lgsgsa.org.
Trophy Tour
Baseball fans will get the opportunity to see the San Francisco Giants World Championship trophy up close and personal on Feb. 3, 4-6 p.m., at San Jose Municipal Stadium, 588 E. Alma Ave. Fans will have the opportunity to have their photo taken with the 2010, 2012 and 2014 trophies while supporting the Junior Giants Baseball League by making a voluntary contribution during the trophy viewing.
River Run
The second annual Super Guadalupe River Run will be held on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 1, 9 a.m., and includes runs of 6.2 and 3.1 miles and a 1K for children. Girls water polo
Santa Clara Water Polo, in conjunction with the Santa Clara Swim Club, is looking for girls ages 8-18 to play for its high school and youth teams. The teams will focus on fundamentals. For more information, visit santaclaraswimclub.org.
