Matador hockey
The Matador Field Hockey Camp will be held June 9 through July 16 at Monta Vista High School. Sessions will run from 6 to 8 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday are open to boys and girls in grades 3-12, including recent 2015 graduates. All players must have shin guards and a mouth guard–a stick can be rented for $10 for the run of the camp. The camp cost is $275. Bruin camps
The Branham Bruins Summer Basketball Camps will be held July 13-17 and July 20-24, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. each day, for players ages 6-11 and July 13-17, 1:30-4 p.m. each day, for players ages 12-15 (or those entering grades 6-9). Branham head coach Sean Cummings will direct the camp that will stress fundamentals and feature game play. The cost of $200 includes a camp T-shirt. Mat camps
The Los Gatos Summer Wrestling Camp returns to town with sessions set for June 8-12 (middle school camp, ages 12-14), June 15-19 (high school camp) and June 22-26 (kids camp, ages 7-12). Hoopstarz
The annual Hoopstarz Basketball coed summer camps will begin on June 8 and run through Aug. 14 for players ages 8-14. Fremont camp
The 34th annual Fremont Basketball Camp returns to the Fremont High School gym this summer with high school coaches Jason Townsend of Fremont and Craig Ellegood of Cupertino serving as camp directors.
The camp emphasizes fun and fundamentals for boys and girls ages 5-14. Full day camp dates are June 15-19, June 22-26 and July 20-24, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., $230; and half-day camp dates are July 6-10 and July 13-17, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m., $155.

Field hockey
The 16th annual Del Mar girls field hockey camp for beginning players in grades 4-9 will be held on June 15-18 at Del Mar High School. Spartan Camps
San Jose State University head baseball coach Dave Nakama will direct the 2015 Spartan Summer Baseball Camps for youngsters ages 6-12. Players will be grouped by age at the camp that will emphasize individual skills, fundamentals, and beginning team strategy.
Each 9 a.m. to noon camp session will be followed by a Spartan Game Camp, 12:30-3:30 p.m. Camp dates are June 8-12, June 15-19, June 22-26 and July 6-10.

Soccer camps
The eighth annual Los Gatos Summer Soccer Camp series for boys and girls ages 5-18 returns to Los Gatos High School from June through August. Los Gatos varsity soccer coach Rusty Millard and his staff will put campers through their paces Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-noon, beginning June 8-12 through Aug. 10-14. The Vision Volleyball Club will hold summer volleyball camps for players in grades 5-12. Participants will receive individual training in volleyball fundamentals and tactics and will learn the basics of team play.

Wildcat camps
The annual Los Gatos High School Basketball Camps will return to the local high school on June 8-12 and June 15-19. A camp for incoming freshmen will be held June 8-12, 1-3 p.m., and the cost is $225 per player. Camps for boys and girls entering grades 4-8 will be held June 8-12 and 15-19, 9 a.m.-noon each day and the cost is $160 per session for $300 for both sessions.
Camps will be held in the school’s main gym with instruction from Los Gatos High coaches, and each player receives a camp T-shirt.
