Sharks Fan Fest
The second annual San Jose Sharks Fan Fest will be held at the SAP Center on Sept. 12, noon-7:30 p.m. Tickets, priced at $5, also include general admission seating for the Sharks rookie game against the Anaheim Ducks, and the first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a 2015-16 Sharks schedule poster. Complimentary parking will be available in lots A, B and C at SAP Center.

Spartan golf

Golf Classic
The Child Advocates of Silicon Valley host their 10th annual Golf Classic on Aug. 31 at La Rinconada Country Club. The tourney raises funds to recruit, train and support Court Appointed Special Advocates to work one-on-one with foster children in the Santa Clara County dependency system.
