The Aquamaids will be celebrating Carver and many former athletes in an “Academy Awards” reception on Aug. 30 at the Santa Clara University Mayer Theater. It will also coincide with the 10-year reunion of the 2004 Olympic Team which boasted seven Aquamaids.
