De Anza College athletic director Kulwant Singh has been tapped to serve as president of the National Alliance of Two Year College Athletic Administrators for 2015-16. Singh, who has served as De Anza’s A.D. since 2004, succeeds Tim Drain as the organization’s president.

The NATYCAA is a professional organization of two-year college athletics administrators, dedicated to the continuing growth and development of two-year college athletics and the individuals involved through an exchange of information, monitoring of legislation, promotion of academic excellence, increasing communication between organizations and encouraging a high degree of integrity in all endeavors.

Singh is a two-time national and regional coach of the year in soccer. He served 18 years with the California Youth Soccer Association Olympic Development Program, and was the World Cup Assistant Competition Director at the San Francisco site and Stanford University venue in 1994. He has a bachelor and Master of Science degrees in kinesiology and physical education from Cal State-Hayward.
