Strong-arm robbery–Oct. 13, 3:20 p.m. E. Olive Avenue. An unknown person forcibly removed a gold chain from the victim on a school playground. The robber fled on foot.

Commercial burglary–Oct. 13, 4:39 a.m. 800 block of Ross Drive. An unknown person broke a glass door with rocks and stole various items from a business.

Vehicle theft and brandishing weapon–Oct. 12, 10:38 p.m. S. Fair Oaks Avenue. The man saw his vehicle being driven from its parking stall. He confronted the driver, who got out of the vehicle and brandished a knife at him. The driver then fled on foot. Officers found the driver hiding in the area. A second person who was acting as a lookout was also identified and found. Both were arrested and booked into county jail.

Discharge of firearm–Oct. 12, 1:36 a.m. Vaqueros Avenue. While officers were patrolling the parking lot of the Palladium Nightclub, they heard gunshots in the area. Officers located a vehicle leaving the area at a high rate of speed. Officers caught up to the vehicle traveling south on Highway 101, where the occupants threw the firearm out of the vehicle. The vehicle stopped at Fair Oaks Avenue and Highway 101. All four occupants of the vehicle were arrested and booked into county jail for possession and reckless discharge of a loaded firearm. The firearm was recovered on the freeway.

Mutual aid–Oct. 11, 4 p.m. San Jose. The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office requested a Sunnyvale DPS K-9 to search for a wanted subject. The person was located by the K-9 and taken into custody.

Bank robbery–Oct. 10, 5 p.m. W. El Camino Real. A person entered Citibank and pointed a firearm at a teller, demanding money. The person, who was wearing a mask, fled with an undisclosed sum of money.

Residential burglary–Oct. 10, 8:45 a.m. Lily Avenue. An unknown person entered a residence by forcing open the front door and stole jewelry, electronics and firearms.

Robbery–Oct. 9, 9:05 p.m. Lawrence Expressway. While a man was seated in his vehicle in a parking lot, an unknown person broke out a side window of his vehicle and removed a backpack. The man confronted the robber, who threatened him if he resisted. The robber then fled to a waiting vehicle.

Strong-arm robbery–Oct. 9, 3:55 p.m. Morse Avenue. While a woman was sitting in her vehicle in an apartment parking lot, an unknown person forcibly removed her necklace.

Residential burglary–Oct. 9, 1:30 p.m. Blazingwood Drive. Officers responding to a burglary in progress apprehended two people. A third suspect fled on foot and was later apprehended. All three were booked into county jail for burglary. One was wanted for a parole violation.

Recovered vehicle and weapons violation–Oct. 8, 10:50 a.m. S. Pastoria Avenue. An officer found a stolen vehicle in the driveway of a residence. The resident was on parole and during a search of the residence, three handguns were located. Another subject was located in the residence. Both were arrested for being felons in possession of handguns and possession of the stolen vehicle. l.

Gang graffiti–Oct. 4, 7:36 a.m. Morse Avenue. An unknown person used a black marker to write gang graffiti on the wall of a bathroom office, on trash cans and on picnic tables.
