Burglary–Oct. 6, 6:47 p.m. E. Arques Avenue. An unknown woman entered the women’s locker room at 24 Hour Fitness and cut the locks off three lockers. She stole multiple purses from the lockers.
Possession of stolen property–Oct. 5, 11:15 p.m. Crossman Avenue. While conducting security checks in the area, officers found a vehicle occupied by two individuals, one of whom was on probation. A search of the vehicle revealed equipment that was stolen from a construction site in Fremont. A third individual was located in a nearby construction site and fled on foot. This person was captured by a K-9. All three were arrested and booked into county jail for possession of stolen property, trespassing and narcotics violations.
Aggravated assault–Oct. 4, 1:03 a.m. S. Murphy Avenue. Officers responded to Fibbar Magee’s on a report of a bar fight. Officers located two people who sustained serious injuries, one of whom was taken and admitted to a local hospital. The attacker was found in the area, arrested and booked into county jail.
Kitchen fire–Oct. 3, 7:49 p.m. Columbia Avenue. A stove-top grease fire occurred in an apartment, and responding personnel extinguished the fire. The fire had extended into the wall, but was stopped before extending to the rest of the apartment.
Residential burglary–Oct. 3, noon. Crescent Avenue. An unknown person entered a residence through an open bathroom window and stole jewelry and collectibles.
Commercial burglary–Oct. 1, 6 p.m. Mercury Drive. An unknown person entered a school by breaking a glass front door and stole 40 laptop computers.
Graffiti–Sept. 22, 9:21 a.m. San Miguel Avenue. Gang-related graffiti was found on the north side of San Miguel Elementary School.
Graffiti–Sept. 22, 1:40 p.m. S. Bernardo Avenue. Graffiti was found on a city-owned portable sign.
