Auto burglary–April 3, 9:23 a.m. Scotia Terrace. An unknown person broke the passenger’s side windows of a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta and stole sunglasses. There was an unknown green jacket left by the person draped across the shattered passenger’s side window.

Auto burglary–April 2, 7:41 p.m. Lawrence Station Road. An unknown person smashed the rear driver’s side window of a 2014 Mercedes 350 and stole an Apple MacBook laptop.

Attempted residential burglary–April 2, 2:46 p.m. Wright Avenue. An unknown person attempted to force open a back yard door leading to a garage. No entry was made and nothing was taken.

Auto burglary–April 1, 8:05 p.m. E. El Camino Real. An unknown person broke into a 2007 Audi A4 and stole a headlamp, eyeglasses, spiral notebook, textbook and backpack.

Found property–April 1, 7:46 p.m. First Avenue. A purse was found on the 700 block of First Avenue.

Auto burglary–April 1, 7:31 p.m. E. El Camino Real. An unknown person broke into a 2013 Chevy Impala and stole a Dell laptop, house keys, calculator, and U.S. passport.

Auto burglary–April 1, 7:19 p.m. Lawrence Expressway. An unknown person broke into a 2009 GMC Acadia and stole a a black purse containing a driver’s license, eyeglasses, Apple iPhone, $100 cash and various credit and debit cards.

Simple assault–April 1, 5:44 p.m. Santa Susana Street. Two men got into an argument over one of them moving out of their residence, which led to one of the men battering the other. The incident was cleared by arrest and citation.

Graffiti–April 1, 10:26 a.m. Mango Avenue. Gang-related graffiti was found on the side of a building on the Sunnyvale Middle School campus.

Auto burglary–March 31, 8:12 a.m. Tamarack Lane. An unknown person stole four tires from a 1993 Toyota Corolla.

Auto burglary–March 31, 12:17 a.m. Manzano Way. An unknown person stole an ice chest and bag containing children’s clothing from a 1996 Honda Civic.

Found property–March 30, 4:54 p.m. Ticonderoga Drive. A set of keys was found on the 900 block of Ticonderoga Drive.

Aggravated assault–March 29, 9:14 p.m. W. Red Oak Drive. A man lunged at another man with a box cutter and later choked him, almost causing him to pass out.

Petty theft–March 29, 5:27 p.m. Kensington Avenue. An unknown person stole a package from a front porch of a home.

Petty theft–March 28, 4:15 p.m. E. Evelyn Terrace. An unknown person stole a rear license plate from a 1990 Honda Accord.

Grand theft–March 28, 10:06 a.m. Forgewood Avenue. An unknown person got inside the fenced yard of Active Auto Body and stole more than $1,000 worth of scrap metal and vehicle parts. The entire crime was captured on video surveillance.

Grand theft–March 28, 8:05 a.m. Mangrove Avenue. An unknown person stole a catalytic converter from a 2003 Toyota truck.

Commercial burglary–March 28, 3:39 a.m. E. Evelyn Avenue. Police arrived on the 300 block of E. Evelyn Avenue for a report of a man breaking a window to a business and found the man inside the building. He complied with officers’ commands and dropped multiple small coffee creamer cups as he climbed out of the broken glass door. The cups were taken from a coffee table located inside the building. The broken glass door had a value of about $1,500. No other items were missing or disturbed.

Commercial burglary–March 27, 7:10 a.m. W. El Camino Real. An unknown person broke the lock on a storage shed located at a construction site and stole several electric tools.

Commercial burglary–March 27, 6:07 a.m. Bordeaux Drive. An unknown person cut the locks from four storage containers.
